Synopsis
In the era of new media, Jiang Zi is a girl who isn’t particularly lucky but keeps running hard on her journey of self-improvement, hoping to be seen. Determined to become a self-media influencer, she resolutely quits her stable job in her hometown and comes to Beijing alone.
She lands the opportunity to work with Ai Wei, her former idol. The two become both rivals and friends—appreciating each other while also competing fiercely. Smart, capable, and daring, Jiang Zi gradually carves out a place for herself in the new media world.
Around the same time, she meets Luo Xin, a sweet and nerdy science guy. They start off as a bickering pair, but gradually come to rely on each other. Luo Xin becomes Jiang Zi’s escape from the swamp of workplace struggles, her remedy in times of despair.
Yet when Jiang Zi reaches the peak of success, she begins to question the true meaning of her work in new media. After an unexpected mistake, she is sidelined by her company. Her career hits rock bottom. But with the help of Luo Xin and Ai Wei, she completes her own “second growth” and reaches new heights in her career once again.
