Synopsis
Su Li (Lily Arnold) saved Gu Jiming (Tim Nell) after he was severely injured in a car accident. Willing to repay that bond, she married into his wealthy family and stayed by his side through four years of marriage, yet she never received even a trace of warmth in return. Gu Jiming’s heart belonged solely to his childhood sweetheart and first love, Lu Sisi, while he remained indifferent to all of Su Li’s devotion.
Time and again, Lu Sisi schemed against her, causing her to lose her child and stealing the fruits of her hard work. Each time, Gu Jiming chose to protect and indulge Lu Sisi. To comfort the woman he truly loved, he even cruelly sacrificed the child Su Li carried.
With all hope shattered, Su Li decisively divorced him and left for another country, reclaiming the dreams she had set aside for marriage. Only after she walked away without looking back did Gu Jiming realize what he had lost—but by then, all that remained in his life was endless regret and lingering longing.
