The former Idols SA host reflected on balancing studies, work, and self-doubt as he celebrated earning his MBA from Regenesys Business School.

South African rapper and media personality ProVerb, whose real name is Tebogo Thekisho, has officially graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Regenesys Business School.
The milestone comes a year after the former Idols SA host completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the same institution in 2024.
In a post shared on social media, ProVerb reflected on the demanding journey behind the qualification, revealing that years of sacrifice, perseverance, and hard work went into making his dream a reality.
“Tonight, a dream years in the making finally crossed the stage with me,” he wrote.
“From lecture notes between radio links, assignments after long production days, research, rewriting, sacrifice, self-doubt & perseverance… tonight I officially graduate with my MBA.”
The media personality also encouraged others pursuing their own ambitions despite life’s challenges.
“I graduate with my MBA deeply humbled, deeply grateful & deeply aware that this achievement belongs to everyone who walked this road with me.
“To anybody chasing a dream while juggling real life, keep going. Your breakthrough moment may be closer than you think,” he added.
Fans and industry colleagues flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages, including his sister, actress Lerato Mvelase, who also earned her MBA from Regenesys Business School in 2025.

you did so well, congratulations,” Mvelase wrote.
ProVerb has also used his platform to inspire followers through a message about reinvention, personal growth, and lifelong learning, reminding fans that “learning never expires” as he looks ahead to his next chapter.
