SHARKS CONFIRM BRUTAL INJURY

It has now also been confirmed that Hooker dislocated his shoulder. And while no timeline has been given for his recovery and eventual return, an injury of this kind’s recovery usually takes 12 to 16 weeks.

“Ethan’s injury was a massive blow for us,” said Sharks coach JP Pietersen. “After scoring a try, the rules say you not supposed to dive on a player and rules are there to protect players and sadly that did not happen.”

“He dislocated his shoulder. He is a massive presence for us and to lose him after the first half was very disappointing and frustrating.”
