Synopsis
Five years earlier, Xue Xiangyi (Elise Shelby) married Kong Lin’an (Alan Knox) with a generous dowry, which she later sold off to help fund disaster relief and single-handedly support the Kong household. However, when Kong Lin’an returned, he brought back a secondary wife, Lin Yuniang, along with their children. Meanwhile, her in-laws constantly schemed against and framed her. Awakening to the truth, she decisively broke away. Relying on her grandfather’s Baohe Hall, she set a trap to expose the Kong family’s hypocrisy, won the Crown Prince’s recognition, and was granted the title of County Lady by the Empress, along with permission to divorce.
