Synopsis
When she was young, Ruan Shining (Nina Reed) witnessed her mother being murdered in a meticulously planned fire orchestrated by her father and stepmother. Traumatized by the tragedy, she grew up carrying both pain and a burning desire for justice. Years later, her stepsister Feng Anqiao, terrified of marrying the notoriously ruthless and unstable head of the Tan family, Tan Siyan (Ethan Tate), schemes to switch brides. She tricks Ruan Shining into getting into the wrong wedding car, while she herself marries Tan Siyan’s nephew instead. Seeing through the plot, Ruan Shining decides to turn the tables and go along with the plan, ultimately marrying the ill-famed Tan Siyan.
