Synopsis
Sealed for a thousand years, the dragon maiden Haoyue (Ophelia Grace) is trapped in the mortal world after her soul pearl accidentally ends up inside a human, Shen Yizhou (Leon Collins). Determined to retrieve it, she repeatedly confronts him—only to fail each time—while he mistakenly believes she is obsessively pursuing him.
Amid a series of comical misunderstandings and misaligned intentions, the narcissistic Shen Yizhou gradually finds himself drawn to Haoyue’s pure, unrestrained “evil,” while she, burdened by past hatred, begins to soften under his quiet protection.
In the end, he sacrifices his life to return the soul pearl to her, ensuring her victory. In turn, she uses a scale left behind from their past connection to save him from death. Their bond, forged across lifetimes, is renewed as they choose to remain together in the mortal world.
