Synopsis
Single mother Shen Lei is an emotional illustrator who raises her two children, Shen Sihang and Shen Duoduo, living a peaceful and warm life.
That peace is disrupted when a reckless father and daughter move in next door — weather forecaster Lin Sen and his daughter Lin Na.
Shen Lei is annoyed by Lin Sen’s habit of blocking the hallway and playing loud music, but every time she tries to confront him, he is nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, Lin Sen and his daughter also dislike their overly sensitive neighbors and choose to avoid them.
As time passes, the two still haven’t met face to face.
While job hunting, Shen Lei meets her dream “Romeo,” and Lin Sen unexpectedly encounters his “lovely goddess.” Little do they know that the person they like is actually the neighbor they can’t stand.
As they struggle with this dilemma, Shen Sihang and Lin Na become desk mates at school — and they can’t stand each other either. The escalating family conflict puts their budding romance at risk.
But Shen Lei and Lin Sen don’t give up. With help from friends, they show patience and care for each other’s children, helping them feel both fatherly and motherly love again. In the end, they overcome all obstacles and form a happy family.
