A picture posted by actress and socialite Khanyi Mbau has left many social media users confused and concerned. The 40-year-old has undergone extensive plastic surgery, including her latest round, which she believes will make her look “filtered and face tuned in real time.”

On her Facebook account, a picture of Khanyi Mbau elicited a strong reaction from her followers.
In the pic, the 40-year-old gave the public a look at her snatched and wrinkle-free face.
However, many of her fans shared their concerns that Khanyi had take hr love for plastic surgery too far.
“How many faces has she bought so far?” asked one follower. Another commented: “Catwoman loading”.
A third joked that even God himself wouldn’t recognise Khanyi Mbau.

In 2024, Khanyi Mbau underwent extensive plastic surgery, which included a fox eye facelift, lip lift and an upper blepharoplasty.
Khanyi has also had other aesthetic work done, which includes:
- Breast augmentation
- Nose job
- Liposuction and body sculpting
- Fillers and Botox
- Skin lightening
- Veneers and surgery to “push back” her gums.
- Hair implants

Khanyi Mbau has explained that her viral facelift was to achieve a “filtered and face tuned in real time.”
Despite the lengthy recovery, which included painful swelling and bruising, Khanyi claimed she was happy with the results.
She shared in an Instagram Story last year: “I always used filters and FaceTune to achieve this look, now I look this way.
“It’s still going to get better as the skin tightens even more and the face takes its full shape. I lost a few years off my face.”
She added that she was excited about her “youthful” features.
