Lin Anping (Andrew Linford), the son of a disgraced minister, spent three years pretending to be insane and foolish in order to survive. After his loyal servant was brutally killed and his fiancée Xu Shiyao publicly broke off their engagement, he finally cast aside his disguise and secretly joined the army under a false identity at the Northern Frontier.
Armed with extraordinary intelligence and unmatched strategy, Lin Anping turned the tide of battle against overwhelming odds. He captured the Prince of Beihan alive, conquered three cities in succession, and earned the title of Marquis Wu’an. After returning to the capital, he took command of the City Patrol Office, executing enemies in public, cracking down on corrupt nobles, and engaging in a fierce political struggle against the Crown Prince’s faction.
When Beihan launched another invasion, Lin Anping uncovered the Crown Prince’s conspiracy with foreign enemies. He led a campaign deep into the grasslands, wiped out hostile forces, and ultimately crushed Beihan’s main army.
