Ray White Canberra has acquired Cream Residential, with Cream’s property team joining the larger agency from 1 November 2026.

Cream Residential was established in 1997 as a family-owned business and built a strong reputation for personalised service and extensive market knowledge. It now brings that experience to Ray White.

This local expertise now pairs with Ray White’s nationwide reputation, giving clients access to greater resources and technology.

Cream Residential’s Principal Chris Wilson will also join the Ray White team. Mr Wilson brings more than 35 years of industry experience and 11 years on the Real Estate Institute of the ACT (REIACT) Board.

Mr Wilson also served as Deputy President of the board from 2023 and was appointed REIACT President in May 2026.

“We are enormously proud of what Cream Residential has achieved and are grateful to the clients who have supported us over the years,” Mr Wilson said.

“It was important to find a group that shared our commitment to people, relationships and exceptional service. We are excited to join Ray White Canberra Group and begin this next chapter together.”

The acquisition adds around 380 rental properties to Ray White Canberra’s rent roll, pushing the group’s total residential assets under management beyond $3 billion.

Landlords and tenants are assured that they will be supported throughout the ownership change, with a focus on continuity of service and maintaining the trusted relationships that built Cream Residential’s reputation.

Founder and Executive Chairman of Ray White Canberra, Ben Faulks, paid tribute to Cream Residential and welcomed them to the Ray White Group.

“Chris and his team have built an outstanding business, underpinned by strong relationships, local knowledge and a genuine commitment to their clients,” Mr Faulks said.

“It marks the close of an incredible 29-year chapter for Chris and Cream Residential, and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for us all.

“Every acquisition is built on trust, and with that comes a responsibility to honour the legacy of the business while continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes for its clients.

“Chris is one of Canberra’s most experienced and respected real estate professionals. His reputation, industry leadership and approach to client service make him and the Cream Residential team a natural fit for our group.”
