Synopsis

Right after their wedding night, he returns to the city, leaving her alone in the countryside to face her in-laws’ cruelty, a quadruplet pregnancy, and the tragic fate of “dying in childbirth.”
Determined to survive, Ye Shuang travels to the city with her growing belly. To her surprise, the aloof Fu Cheng may act icy and stern during the day, but at night he blushes as he massages her swollen legs, washes her hair, and sneaks out in the middle of the night to find herbs to soothe her itching skin. What begins as a reluctant marriage slowly turns into a sweet and devoted romance as the ice around Fu Cheng’s heart begins to melt.
But just as their relationship deepens, an anonymous letter suddenly throws everything into chaos. Someone accuses Ye Shuang of faking both the marriage and the pregnancy, claiming the children are not Fu Cheng’s at all.
