After three years together, singer and actor Ariana Grande and actor Ethan Slater have gone their separate ways.
The couple got together after meeting in 2022 on the set of Wicked. The Hate That I Made You Love Me singer played Glinda, and Slater joined the movie as Boq.
Controversially, both Grande and Slater were married to other people when they met and paired up. Her husband was Dalton Gomez, and around that time Slater filed for divorce from his then-wife, Lilly Jay. They went public with their relationship in mid 2023.
It’s now reported that the couple quietly split a few months ago, a source telling People Magazine that the couple split on good terms.
“It’s amicable, they gave lots of time and careful consideration, and decided to go their separate ways. They are still friends and very supportive of one another. They have been quietly broken up for several months,” the source told the magazine.
Grande is on her Eternal Sunshine tour, which began on 6 June. This is a good distraction from the breakup for the singer, who has not been so lucky in the love department.
Some of her famous relationships included an engagement to Pete Davidson and her marriage to Dalton Gomez. She was also linked to Graham Phillips and had long-term relationships with Mac Miller, Big Sean, and Ethan Slater.
