Synopsis
On a stormy night in Jiangcheng County, Liu Yufeng rescues a large black snake and a small white snake trapped in a mudslide while driving home, even allowing them to stay in her family orchard. Unexpectedly, not long after, she is framed by her best friend Su Xuelian and her husband Zhao Shumin in a pesticide residue scandal involving the orchard’s fruit, and is wrongfully imprisoned for ten years.
After her release, Liu Yufeng discovers that Su Xuelian has seized her business. Not only is she subjected to endless humiliation, but she is also forced to work as a manure carrier, while Zhao Shumin cruelly mistreats their daughter, Zhao Guoguo. Just as everything seems hopeless, the black snake she once saved returns with a mysterious background and brings Liu Yun, chairman of the Liu Group, to repay the debt of gratitude.
At the same time, a hidden conspiracy resurfaces: a mutant snake research project secretly established by Japanese forces seventy years earlier finally begins to emerge from the shadows.
