Song Huaichuan of the Nuwa Clan was framed, and by a twist of fate, he entered into a contract marriage with Xu Suian, who was suffering from a terminal illness. He initially intended to use the marriage as a cover to stabilize his company and investigate the truth behind his mother’s death, while Xu Suian could leverage the Nuwa bloodline to cure her illness.
Each had their own agenda, but as they pursued the truth, Song Huaichuan discovered that Xu Suian might have a deep and complex connection to his mother, and that she was far from an ordinary human girl, shrouded in mystery. From allies who used each other, they gradually became lovers who depended on one another.
