Using a fake gold scheme, he exposes their crimes and joins forces with Su Tian to bring down the powerful Su Zhenghong. Eight years ago, underworld boss Chen Xiao (Charles Mason) took the fall for his sworn brother Zhao Feng and was sent to prison. Upon his release, he discovers that his fiancée, Su Wei, and Zhao Feng have long since betrayed him and are secretly searching for a cache of gold he once hid away.
Feigning ignorance, Chen Xiao sets an elaborate trap using counterfeit gold. During a birthday banquet, he publicly exposes their affair and unveils evidence linking them to murder. Along the way, he joins forces with Su Tian, a woman seeking justice for her family’s downfall, and wins over Scarface, a ruthless enforcer manipulated by Su Zhenghong.
Together, the trio gathers the evidence needed to bring down Su Zhenghong’s criminal empire. In the end, Zhao Feng is sentenced to death, Su Zhenghong is brought to justice, and Su Tian reclaims her family’s fortune. Having left his criminal past behind, Chen Xiao starts a legitimate business and ultimately finds love and redemption with Su Tian.
