Convinced that Wen Qing was the perfect granddaughter-in-law, Li Hanci’s grandmother brought the two together. When Wen Qing was pressured and mistreated by her irresponsible father, Li Hanci stepped in to protect her, and they entered into a contract marriage.
After their wedding, misunderstandings arose because of her father’s reckless spending. However, when Li Hanci discovered that Wen Qing was still working hard while pregnant to support her family, he was filled with guilt and affection. As the truth came to light, he resolved the misunderstandings and devoted himself to caring for her.
