Synopsis
He Yunchu (Carla Holt), the heir to the He family, has protected her twin brother He Yunzhou since childhood, even risking her own life to save him. Following her parents’ instructions, she returns home to welcome her brother’s girlfriend, Chen Meng, only to face provocation. Chen Meng, together with her family, covets the He family fortune.
Misled by Chen Meng’s deception, He Yunzhou believes her lies, including a false claim of pregnancy, allowing Chen Meng to act arrogantly within the He household. Faced with her brother’s misunderstanding, her grandmother’s favoritism, and Chen Meng’s escalating audacity, He Yunchu gathers evidence and, together with her fiancé Chu Qiuchi (Cyril Cahill), exposes the conspiracy: her second uncle, He Mingcheng, colluded with Chen Meng to seize the family’s assets and shares.
In the end, Chen Meng and He Mingcheng are brought to justice, and He Yunzhou realizes his mistakes, kneeling to beg He Yunchu for forgiveness.
