Synopsis
When the Zhou and Lin families arranged a marriage alliance, Lin Xuqiu’s (Alice Mann) older sister ran away before the engagement, forcing Lin Xuqiu to take her place and meet Zhou Wangjin (Jason Park).
Zhou Wangjin was notorious for being rebellious and untamed, the complete opposite of the obedient and reserved Lin Xuqiu. She assumed he would reject the arrangement without hesitation, but to her surprise, he agreed.
After marriage, Lin Xuqiu’s feelings gradually changed. What began as fear turned into familiarity, and eventually she became so accustomed to his presence that she barely noticed him at all. Meanwhile, Zhou Wangjin grew increasingly jealous and dissatisfied. The more distant she became, the more he wanted from her, craving a place in her heart that she refused to give.
Everything came to a breaking point when Lin Xuqiu placed a divorce agreement in front of him and asked for his signature.
Instead of signing, Zhou Wangjin firmly slipped the wedding ring back onto her finger. His voice was low and unwavering as he declared, “Divorce? I don’t agree.”
