Synopsis
Single mother Shen Qingqing, in order to secure a school admission for her daughter Guo Guo, enters into a marriage of convenience with neighborhood resident Li Fuzheng. Li Fuzheng, pressured by his family, reluctantly agrees to the marriage, but over time, he develops genuine feelings for Shen Qingqing and her daughter.
Initially, Li’s mother makes life difficult for them, but she unexpectedly discovers that Guo Guo is actually Li’s biological granddaughter—Shen Qingqing had once had a relationship with Li Fuzheng six years ago and became pregnant. All misunderstandings are eventually resolved. Shen Qingqing successfully becomes a community worker, and the three of them enjoy a happy, fulfilling life together.
