Synopsis
Chen Nan (John Cosby) grew up training in the mountains and was sent down by his master to marry with only a jade pendant as proof. On the way, he rescued Li Huiran (Tessa Lane), who was being chased, and learned that she was the younger sister of his fiancée. Upon arriving at the Li family, the eldest daughter Li Huining immediately called off the engagement.
Li Huiran volunteered to marry in her sister’s place, hoping to use him to save the family company. They agreed to a contract marriage, each intending to use the other for their own purposes. However, as Chen Nan repeatedly rescued her from danger, Li Huiran gradually found herself falling for this husband from the mountains.
