Zheng Ming, a retired martial arts champion, is forced to join the underground counterfeit industry to pay for his daughter’s medical treatment. He starts by using fake money to pay off debts, but soon finds himself in deeper and deeper. Police captain Xie Jiatong traces the source of the fake currency, engaging in an intense cat-and-mouse game with Zheng Ming.
Meanwhile, counterfeit kingpin Qiao Daxiang runs a “counterfeit village,” using his clan’s power to build a vast underground empire. The three sides clash in an ultimate showdown between justice and greed, family bonds and crime.
