Synopsis
Struggling to make ends meet, Zheng Yu works multiple part-time jobs to pay for her mother’s medical expenses and family debts, all while striving to win her school’s “Vitality Award” scholarship.
But early in her junior year, Chen Yanzhou—who had taken a year off due to illness—joins the class and quickly becomes the top student in the biology department. Zheng Yu sees him as a rival, yet finds herself repeatedly working with him to achieve mutual success.
As they spend time together, they gradually discover the warm hearts hidden beneath each other’s seemingly cold exteriors.
Through shared challenges and teamwork, they come to understand each other’s hidden pains and family struggles.
