Synopsis
After finishing his street stall for the day, Ning Ze accidentally runs into Shen Fuyao, the goddess of the Black Sparrow Guild, being cornered by Chen Qi, the heir of the Chen family. In a moment of desperation, Shen Fuyao pulls Ning Ze in and pretends he is her boyfriend to drive Chen Qi away.
Later, Shen Fuyao follows Ning Ze back to his seemingly “impoverished” home. To resist Chen Qi’s forced marriage, the two hastily go through a wedding ceremony that very night.
The next day, Chen Qi kidnaps members of the Black Sparrow Guild and escalates the situation into a life-and-death confrontation to force the marriage.
