CEBU CITY, Philippines- At least P1.1 billion worth of counterfeit tobacco products and manufacturing equipment were confiscated by Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday, April 10, 2026, in a warehouse in Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City. The operation resulted to the dismantling of the large-scale illegal cigarette operation and apprehension of several individuals, including foreign nationals.
