At the engagement ceremony, Su Jingyu (Grace Sylvester), the eldest daughter of the Su family, suddenly calls off her engagement to Lu Boyan (Benjamin Lawrence). Her shocking decision is widely believed to be a sacrifice made to help her older sister, Xiaoyue. Xiaoyue promises that as long as Su Jingyu can find a way to make Lu Boyan drink a bottle of drugged liquid, she will be able to secure control over the powerful Long family. To deceive her scheming sister, Su Jingyu pretends to agree to the plan.
At the same time, Su Jingyu reveals her secret—she has been reborn and remembers everything from her past life. Determined to rewrite her fate, she vows never to let anyone harm her or the people she loves again.
In her previous life, Su Jingyu trusted the wrong man and was ultimately destroyed by Lu Jingchuan (Jameson Lawrence) and her cousin Su Lili.
